Busy Girl

Wow, what a busy week for a little girl! On Tuesday she went to work with me and greeted everyone who came into my office...the first two, Randy and Shirley, are favorites so she really greeted them. But she loves people and has to check out everyone. Eventually she settled down and proceeded to nap during visits from a couple of people. Took a walk outside once or twice (potty time for puppies) and overall got thru the morning pretty good. She likes to ride in the car but still not getting in and out easily, but we're working on that.

On Friday  Judy, Nadie, Michele and I went to Albuquerque for Puppy Day! First to Joanie and Denny's to play in the back yard for an hour or more with their puppy, Odyssey. Run, run, drink, drink, play, play, run, run, run....oh boy! then off to lunch at Flying Star. Michele's first real restaurant excursion. Odyssey and Nadie got under the table and fell asleep. Not Miss M! she had to check out everyone around and didn't want to "under". Finally got her turned around so she was under the table and facing out....that did it and she laid down and slept thru lunch. And then off to puppy class. So much stimulation for them....Michele did pretty well considering this is the first puppy class that we have been able to attend. She went up and down the stairs pretty goo- but "stay" is hard for this curious child.  She didn't potty or poop in the building so that was good!  It was a different scene on the way home. Nadie and Michele were asleep in the back of the car almost before we got out of the school parking lot. Quiet trip home. And she slept most of the evening and definitely needed to rest. What a day. A long one but good. We'll head down to Albuquerque again in mid-Feb for another class. Got work to do before then however.....stay, wait, under, etc. etc. She did do "jump" great though. And they both managed to get into the car with no hesitation. Makes a difference when you have a friend.

So we are nearly to 8 months old....Feb 9th and one year to turn-in. Don't even want to think about that. She's a good girl and a real love. She's missing her dad though. Gene has gone to Minnesota for a few days and Ms M is his girl...she keeps looking for him - both inside and out.

Time for supper for Levi and Michele and right on time, here she is by my side telling me it's that time. Built in clock in those two.

  1. Hi Linda,

What a beautiful girl you have there! Hope all is going well. Spring has sprung in the Pacific Northwest - it is gorgeous at the beach today. Daffys are out and I'm feeling the need for a spring project! Have a great spring/summer.
